Whether it's your first encounter with horses or you're training for the World Show, LPPH can help you accomplish your goals. Liz has been in the horse business for almost forty years and training horses and riders for over twenty. She is an AQHA World and Reserve World Champion, along with numerous Top Five and Top Ten placings to her name. She has trained riders to World Championships and multiple placings at the World, National, State and Local level.

Not only is Liz Place competetive at every level of competition, she can help you in all aspects of riding. Maybe you want help starting lpphyour colt or regain your confidence out on trail. Whatever your need may be, Liz has extensive experience handling all breeds of horses and can help you get there.

Lindsay LaPlante, our resident lesson instructor, runs Silver Spur Riding School. She helps riders of all ages and experience levels. We have many safe, dependable and well-trained lesson horses to teach you everything there is to know about becoming a horseman. Check out the lesson page for more information.

Not only do we strive to create great horses and skilled horsemen, LPPH also wants to make your experience fun and enjoyable. The atmostphere is very easy-going and relaxed - spending time with your horse should be fun, so we do everything possible to make it that way. We have a "barn-family" and often get together for "Barn-BQ's" or other outings. You will make lifelong friends with those who share similar interests.

Congratulations to our 2015 AQHA World Show competitors!
We would like to give a huge congratulations to Liz Place and Nappin On The Range (Rowdy) for winning Sr. Trail Level 2 at the AQHA World Championship!!! She and Rowdy also placed 6th in Level 3 Sr. Trail, out of 115 competitors!

Renee Woods and Rowdy also showed in Level 2 Amateur Trail and came home with very respectable scores. Linda Gluckman showed Rockin Out in Style (Rocky) in Level 2/3 Amateur Trail as well, also coming home with good scores. Congratulations ladies!
